GIRL & BOY SCOUTS: Multiple equine learning stations are set up for earning horse lovers badge. Feeding, grooming, safety, tack and riding are taught. Horseback riding followed by lots of fun activities..
Rates:
- Trail Rides - $15/ hr scout rates only
2 hour horse education program -$15/person (min. of 6)Learn about breeds, markings, colors, confirmation, saddling, learning stations, how to lead a horse. BYO lunch!
3 Hour day camp
- $30/ Person (includes 1 meal) 1 hour of riding and many equine activities
6 Hour day camp -$45/person (includes 1 meal) 2 hours of riding and many equine activities
Overnight Camp
- $65/ Person (minimum of 6)
- $99/ Person two nights (minimum of 6)
- Includes 3 meals and many equine activities
- $100 holds event 50% deposit due prior to arrival and the balance on or before arrival date
Overnight camp BYO tent
-$65/person with a 2 night minimum
-Bring your own craft and the rest is same as above
These equestrian based badge opportunities can be combined with other badge possibilties including nature items (leaves/identify trees), mapping or bird watching (there are over 100 species of birds in the 2200 acres of timberland behind the ranch. During your stay we can also provide a formal dining education session where the scouts learn how to properly set a table, serve food, present appealing meals etc. This formal meal can be part of the program if the scouts are staying overnight at the ranch house.
We also offer community service opportunities through our therapeutic riding outreach programs!!!

HORSE CAMP: Day or overnight camp. Adopt a horse for 3 or 5 days. Fun team and individual activities, awards and trophies, games, crafts, . Day camp - 5 days 9:00-3:00 includes lunch $300 (or $75/ day). Overnight Camp - includes meals & stay in the lodge for $100/ night. Age 9-17.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMP ALSO AVAILABLE:
Outback Equestrian Olympics: Horse soccer, goat/ tying, barrel racing, cross country obstacle course, roping, volleyball, instruction in western/english riding styles.Camps will be split into two groups beginners and advanced. Each group will be able to excel at there own riding level!!! Includes a T-shirt and as always, a ton a horse-n-around fun!
